I want to be your favorite dentist ever! I enjoy getting to know my patients, so that I can better understand their specific needs and develop treatment plans that are realistic, prioritized and affordable for them. I am passionate about my patients and having a positive impact on their lives by delivering high quality, comfortable patient centered care. I enjoy treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. One of my major goals is to focus on prevention and control of oral disease (i.e. cavities, gum disease). As a general dentist I enjoy being able to provide comprehensive care such as Oral Surgery, Root Canals, Fillings, Dentures, Crowns, Implants, Bridges and Veneers. It is really satisfying to be able to use my skills to help my patients improve their smiles, maintain their quality of life and overall health, relieve their pain and see their self-confidence flourish.

I am an Idaho native and have been practicing dentistry in the Treasure Valley since 2008. I have been happily married to my wife, Jaimie, for 19 yrs. Together we have two daughters ages 13 and 10. I’m proud and excited to be part of the Smileworks team. Besides Dentistry, I love the quality of life that living in the Treasure Valley provides. I enjoy its parks, rivers, mountains and the family life the area has to offer. I particularly enjoy fishing and mountain biking.

 FAQ

──

Does Smileworks offer cosmetic dentistry services?

Yes! We specialize in making your smile perfect and just how you want it. Our cosmetic services include porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, invisible braces, dental implants, crowns, and bridges.

At what age should my child start regularly seeing the dentist?

Dr. Lind recommends bringing your child for a regular dental visit as soon as their first tooth appears, or by their first birthday. Early visits help children get comfortable with dental care and prevent dental anxiety. Smileworks even offers a fun, no-charge first visit where your child can meet the team, ride in the dental chair, and receive a toothbrush to take home.

Does Smileworks offer dental appliances for treating things like TMJ or sleep apnea?

Yes, Dr Lind offers services to treat both TMJ and sleep apnea. He is credentialed with American Sleep Dentistry, which is needed for offering a sleep apnea appliance. He also provides a thorough exam for TMJ during his standard patient exam, and offers many services, such as a bite guard, to provide relief.

What payment methods does Smileworks accept?

At Smileworks, we accept most dental insurance plans, but we are a Premier Provider with Delta Dental of California. We also accept all major credit cards, cash, checks, and offer interest-free financing through CareCredit.

We also offer our own benefits plan called our “Smile Plan”. This includes 2 exams, 2 cleanings, x-rays, 1 pano scan, and cancer screenings.

When should I change my toothbrush?

It is recommended to replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months. Of course, you should replace it earlier if you have been sick or if your toothbrush bristles are worn.

Using a worn-out toothbrush can lead to ineffective cleaning, poor dental health issues, and an increase in germs and bacteria in your mouth.
